Dear Families,

Some of you may have noticed that the bowling permission slip the office sent home yesterday forgot to include a line for a parent/guardian signature.  Many of you picked up on this and just signed at the bottom of the slip anyway, thank you.  For those of you that didn’t miss the error, please email me at Joseph.Cheney@colchestersd.org and state that you give your child permission to go bowling on Thursday.  If you didn’t return the permission slip sent home yesterday, please just send me an email giving your child permission to go bowling on Thursday and that will be sufficient.

Additionally, please have your child wear their yellow shirts on Thursday.

Dear Families,

Permission slips went home today for our school-wide bowling reward, which will take place on Thursday.  Please return the green permission slips that went home today, tomorrow.  This reward will be paid for by the PTO.  Any donations to the PTO in the future are greatly appreciated.

5th Grade Food Drive Announcement:

 

MBS Food Drive

Start date: Tuesday, January 15

End Date: Friday, January 25

The class that gets the most points will get a pizza party.  

Students should collect non-perishable items.  These include canned goods and items in boxes(like crackers, stuffing mix etc).  Each item collected is worth a point.

They are especially in need of pasta sauces, peanut butter, canned chicken and jelly.  These items will be worth double points.

Money can also be donated.  For every dollar collected the class will earn a point towards their total.

Please check the dates of anything you take out of your pantry.  Items out of date will not count towards the class total.
